So I've been a bad kid, and realized I haven't done a book update all year. I can't believe how time is flying. November went by so fast!!! And I only realized the book list was out of date when I was cleaning up the shelves the books were on. So here is the list with a few comments. It's long because it's been about a year. I'm putting a * by the must reads.
Claire LaZebnik - Knitting Under the Influence
Clare Naylor - The Second Assistant
Curtis Sittenfeld - Man of My Dreams
Curtis Sittenfeld - *Prep - good teen angst
Jacqueline Sheehan - Lost and Found
Jhumpa Lahiri - *Interpreter of Maladies, *Unaccustomed Earth
Lolly Winston - Happieness Sold Separately - Good Grief was better
Merrill Markoe - Walking in Circles Before Lying Down - funny and a good read
Sharon Krum - Then Thing about Jane Spring
Zoey Dean - How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls (Privilege TV Show)
Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez - Haters (always a wonderful writer) (mad that it was found in the teen section of the book store and not in the adult section)
Beth Harbinson - Shoe Addicts Anonymous (will read followup book)
Beth Kendrick Fashionably Late
Cara Lockwood - I Did (But I Wouldn't Now)
Eileen Rendahl - Un-Veiled
Elizabeth Gilbert - Eat, Pray, Love - good for an autobiography
Emma Mclaughlin, Nicola Kraus - Dedication (read it in 3 days, good, but disappointing ending)
Gabriel Marquez - Love In the Time of Cholera (good read, just felt like it took 60 years to read)
Holly Peterson - The Manny
Lorna Landvik - *Angry Housewifes Eating Bon Bons
Louise Wener - The Perfect Play
Lynn Messina - Fashionistas
Sara Gruen -*Water for Elephants (made me want to watch Dumbo again)
Sloane Crosley - *I Was Told There'd Be Cake - funny and very relatable
